Introductory Guide to Twitter Ads Revenue Share
Today, Twitter sent the first paychecks to creators who qualified for the creator ads revenue program with some getting as much as $30k and $50k. The paychecks were backdated to February 3rd, 2023 when the monetization program was first announced.
Creator Ads Revenue is a new monetization program from Twitter first announced earlier this year that allows creators to earn money from ads that are shown in the replies to their posts. The program is still in the early stages of development, so there are some details that are not yet known, such as how much money creators will earn.
However, it’s a significant development for Twitter’s creator ecosystem, and it is likely to help attract and retain more creators on the platform.
According to Twitter, to become eligible for ad revenue share, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Be subscribed to Twitter Blue or Verified Organizations.
- Have at least 5M impressions on your posts in each of the last 3 months.
- Pass human review for Creator Monetization Standards.
